Pre-Season Training Starts 6th July 2010!

Pre-Season training will commence on the Tuesday 6th July. Training will take place on Cwm Welfare's pitch every Tuesday and Thursday until further notice. New players are more than welcome to attend and join in with the sessions.

Welfare Finish Runners Up!

After a long hard season, Welfare finish the season in second spot behind league winners Bridgend Street. Many thanks to everyone involved in making this season a success, as this is the highest place that Cwm Welare have ever finished in the league! However, due to the season finishing a week later than usual due to the bad weather, pre-season will be around in a flash so no letting yourselves go over the next month! Michael Payne in particular!

Welsh League requirements coming to fruition!

Cwm Welfare are setting their sights on the Welsh league, and have been hard at work upgrading the changing rooms and pitch.

Thanks to all for their hard work to date (you know who you are), but there is still is plenty of work still to be completed, so we all need to contribute to get all the requirements completed on time.

Cwm Welfare are very grateful and would like to thank Llanharan concrete for their kind donation of concrete blocks. The blocks have been put to good use and two dugouts have now been constructed. Also, thanks to Frosty for his expertise and time for building the dugouts.

Cwm Welfare are looking for sponsorship

Welfare are on the hunt for sponsorship. Cwm are looking to raise money in order to meet the ground requirements that are set by the Welsh FA. The club need to build a stand, dugouts, and upgrade the club changing rooms. This work is essential for the future and progression of the club into the Welsh Football League.

Tour/Stag Money to be paid!!

Please can everyone who wishes to go to Edinburgh for this year's tour/stag please pay Ben Jenkins asap. Deadline for payment Saturday 20th February. Anyone who has not paid £100 deposit will have to book themselves.

Weekend is Friday 11th June, returning on Sunday 13th June. Flights will be from Cardiff departing at 11.10, and departing Edinburgh at 18.05 on Sunday. Everyone will have to share one bag (20kgs) with another person to keep the cost down.

Club Membership needs to be paid - £15 adults - £10 youth
